Marcus Kellum is a regulatory training and management professional with Metric One Training & Consulting based in metro Atlanta, GA. He has worked with local governments, private businesses, and professional organizations to train their regulatory, compliance and enforcement officers and inspectors, and has led several local governments to receive awards, commendations, and national recognition such as:
- 2016 recipient of the AACE Innovative Code Program Award
- 2014 finalist in the ICMA Community Partnership Award
- 2011 recipient of the Atlanta Regional Commission “CREATE” Award
- 2010 finalist for the 2010 ICMA Community Sustainability Award
Marcus has a Master’s degree in Management and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration, as well as multiple certifications; he is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and he received a Leadership Effectiveness certificate from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Marcus is a code enforcement industry mentor, teacher and facilitator and he has appeared in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Diversity-MBA magazine, Georgia Trend magazine, and was recognized in Who’s Who in Atlanta as one who “provides a role model of excellence.”
During his public service career, Marcus taught specialized regulatory, code enforcement, zoning and management courses to more than 15,000 officers, inspectors and municipal employees, in over 18 states, across the country.
His hands on training style, engaging topics and informative classes are recognized by professional organizations and local governments throughout the country.
All courses are International Code Council approved for CEU’s, and Marcus is a Preferred Education Provider.
